Getting to & from the Walk
The start of the walk is in Sante Marie (AQ), which can be reached by car or bus from Tagliacozzo (mornings only).
By train
Unfortunately, the trains from Rome that used to get there have recently been abolished. From Rome you can get there by train to Tagliacozzo and by bus to Magliano de' Marsi. And other buses, including private lines and the regional line. Bus timetables can be found at www.tuabruzzo.it, train timetables at www.trenitalia.it.
All the villages crossed by the route can be reached by car.
By car
If you arrive in Sante Marie by car, you can ask the Salvation Office for advice on where to leave it; they will indicate an unattended car park.

By bus
TUA bus timetables from Tagliacozzo to Sante Marie and vice versa can be found on the TUA website.
